Luxy Beauty was born from founder Yingyee's own journey with sparse, thin eyebrows and the years of frustration that came with them. Getting ready each morning meant spending an hour and a half, sometimes closer to two, carefully filling in her brows with a pencil, only to wipe them off and start again if they didn't look right. Because eyebrows shape the entire face, Yingyee often felt self-conscious leaving the house without hers drawn on, and she avoided pool days, workouts, and anything that risked smudging the look she worked so hard to create.
Everything changed when Yingyee watched a close friend have her eyebrows done through permanent makeup. Struck by how natural and effortless the results looked, she booked her own appointment soon after and never looked back. Five years later, her ombre powder brows continue to give her the confidence to walk out the door each day with her head held high, free from mirror checks and morning makeup routines built entirely around her brows.
